In my headworld, there is a power ranking known as “Bars”. In the early days, Nonhumans of the same Bar Tier could see others rankings floating around their heads. Lately though, such thing has changed and the Bars are no longer visible, but more of a mental rank marked through power and control in the Link.No one knows how Nonhumans are ranked, or who ranks them (as the Celestials have rankings as well), but certain Nonhuman studies have revealed this information about the Bar system. Like all use of magic in the Polpiverse, the Link and magic roots lie in mental pathways laced around the realms. Who planted these streams of magic? How did humans, over time, adapt to wield mental power- something that can not be studied , but passed through genetics?Dec 1, 2020
