she originally runs a flower shop in the Jungle, but upon meeting Maverick starts to explore using technology. Eventually she stumbles across AI that helps her grow the prettiest flowers (specific, but confusing, instructions while growing them). She eventually gets tired of these instructions, and the AI suggests that she just let the AI do it itself.
She agrees, and the AI possesses her (same technology that was used for V4N3554's possessing a human, but in her case its not malicious and a majority of her training was directly from that).
Mav never DID anything wrong, it was just that he allowed Dahlia to be exposed to something HE could handle and knew the dangers of but she didn't. It wasn't anyone's "fault," really.
I do need to expand on how the AI possession works in Alavenea... its not a prominent theme but DOES occur at least twice. I'd love to tie it to Damned Souls, which would be why V4n3554 is put into a human on Old Earth...)Jan 29, 2026
