Shadowy Blur
One of Jake’s superpowers as the Grim is the ability to make himself kind of fade out of focus- which he uses to hide his (very identifiable) scars while in Grim form. However, since this veil of shadow isn’t how his powers usually work, he needs a focus to channel it this way- specifically his mask. Which makes for quite a dramatic reveal when the mask eventually comes knocked off (for the plot!)Nov 19, 2025#oc
