I'm hesitating whether to change my username or not... I guess it's story time lol.
My initial username was Edaelle, but around 15 yeard old I had a phase where I thought I was meant to be a guy, so I switched to Edahel to make it look more masculine. Around 18 years old, I realized I was in fact glad to be a woman and that all this happened because my life was a mess at the time and several factors led me to believe I'd be better off as a man, which wasn't true. I'm 24 now and still happy to be born female.
I kept the name Edahel because it felt unisex enough, but I just saw an old video of mine where my name was still Edaelle and I found it really pretty (tbh I had completely forgotten I used to have this username lol). I kinda want to go back to it, or maybe the variant Edahelle to stay closer to my current one, but I'm not sure. I must admit the phase I had as a teen is not something I want to be reminded of because those were dark times for me, and now that I remember about my old username, I feel like it'd be a nice way to fully turn the page.
Do you think it would confuse people if I changed? Or is it close enough that nobody would care?Aug 29, 2025

Change is fine, people won't care
Keep it as it is, changing would be confusing
