QOTD!!
What goals do you set yourself every time you make art?
For example, I always strive to make every piece just a little bit different or at least make it challenging for myself, since I used to do the exact same bust shot all the time and it really bothered me that I wasn’t seeing any progress ://Jan 29, 2022

I switch goals per months (every 2-3 months) not per work : right now I want to be better at drawing more different body types, constructing backgrounds & getting cleaner at coloring. Everything that I do or research need to be related to as many as these goals as possible. In a few months I would switch to perspective, anatomy and making my art more dynamic so my pieces would all be center around these objectives ~

•I have trouble making art if it isn’t in one sitting so most of my goals go out the window, however when I’m on a roll, I tend to try and make the process as enjoyable as possible so if I ever don’t finish it in one sitting, I’ll be able to come back to it and actually finish it without feeling burnt out :)

•i strive to try new poses and new textures, as i struggle with my art looking stiff and flat

•I try to do different time of day and planning to do different weather type drawings too to expand on my skills and knowledge on how to compose a certain drawing~
