Chapter 5 - Dr. Steve
Chapter 5 of Dr. Steve's story,Although Dr. Steve was horrified by the scene that the element showed him, he decided to take a leap of faith and risk it. He chose to take the powers of the lost element and use it to try to change the world into a better place. It's one of those philosophical questions where the right outcome sometimes is not very easy to distinguish. For example, if a train was going to kill either one young person or a group of 5 old people, which one would you choose to save? Would you choose the young person since he still hasn’t had a chance to enjoy life? Or would you save the 5 old people because there are more of them? Which one is the better choice? The situation back in Earth has been very dire. Energy sources have been depleted and using the sun energy hasn’t become efficient enough to fulfill the civilization’s needs. Using the element means that Dr. Steve has a better chance at solving this crisis. It seems like Dr. Steve decided to choose the short-term issues over the long term and to try doing his best to not go astray with his powers. There are many details to share, but over all his powers are that he can see three days into the future, and can travel one day back into the past. He can't be killed by anything, but there is a twist, the element consumes him every time he uses its powers. He also has more powers that will be revealed with time.
Dr. Steve comes out of the void and meets up with his crew. He looks different and sounds wiser. His energy can be felt without him using his power. But do you think that he made the right choice?Sep 21, 2020
