i have one called druads. They are long lived beings that can turn their body into wood and shape living wood.
If they aren’t careful and use too much of this ability they will turn into trees. Druads that are reaching the end of their lives will intentionally turn themselves into trees because theyd rather be a tree than a corpse. Hence their forests are sacred, being something akin to a graveyard.

hehe get ready for the lore dump
one of the species i have is referred to as “angels,” though they’re essentially human-god hybrids. long story short, a god came to the mortal realm from the upper realm to help the mortals win a war against the lower realm. the god fell in love with a woman, and they had a child together. however, the god became gravely injured in the last battle and had to return to the upper realm to heal, and he didn’t have enough power to go back to the mortal realm. he never got to meet his child, and the child was abandoned in the forest at the age of four because the mother couldn’t withstand the heartbreak (the child starting looking like his dad lol). and that was the first angel!
in present times, people don’t like angels. angels are all half-holy, since holy blood overpowers all and the first angel was half-holy. pretty much almost immortal/invincible. most beings in the mortal realm fear what is stronger/different than them, but people suck so they said “tabled turns” and started hunting angels when it was revealed that their blood can apparently “make you invincible and immortal” and their feathers “are indestructible.” they started hunting angels like crazy, until there was only one left.
in all actuality, angels with two wings can only be damaged on their back and chest, and it usually heals semi-quickly. angel wings work as a pretty good shield, and the feathers of an angel are decently sharp if the angel wills them to be. an angel with one wing is vulnerable on all parts of their body, but they heal quickly as long as they’re not wounded on their chest/back. if you tear out both wings of angel, the angel will die, body will turn to dust, but the wings will remain. drinking the blood of angel with two wings will heal all wounds on the body at the time, and drinking the blood of an angel with one wing will heal all minor wounds and semi-heal severe wounds.

I actually don’t have a name for the species yet but Keimsu is a shapeshifter, three forms and the main one being a predatory catlike creature.
He came from a planet with 80-90% land and the rest being rivers and some ponds over the planet. In his main form his species can jump extremely high and wide.
Their flying form is as big as a skyscraper, rarely used though as it’s faster to travel over planets in main form. Mostly used for traveling through the universe.
His humane form has two sides, the more hidden one with his nose and ears showing slightly. only in the unhidden one he is slightly bowed over and his legs more animal like and his snout showing way more as well as his hair more looking like his fur. His eyes also not having anymore white. Blue eyes turning into the amber eye color he has in his main and flying form.
For his species it is possible for same sex mates to get pregnant and have a natural child of their own.

i have the Argdrik. theyre a sort of lizard race with 5 forms based on where they were born in their home continent, Caelock.
Theres the northern cold of Forencila, where they have fur underneath their scales. The mountainous western nation of Exli, where they have sorta rock forearm things, used partially as shields, sometimes for climbing and maybe digging. The south has Ira, a more forest-y farmland area, which is very religious. the Argdrik there have much better eyesight and insight when dealing with other people.
The eastern nation is Craiska, and i havent come up with a varient for that place. In the middle of the four is an unclaimed desert called the Barce. the Barce Argdrik have two little fin things going all the way up their back and to the top of their head, sorta as protection from the sun.
according to legend, they were somehow involved with the creation of the continent, and i had it written down somewhere but i dont wanna search through my like 7 google docs right now XD

i have a species called detrolls. their species name is a mashup of ‘demon’ and ‘troll’. despite that name, they aren’t exactly demons at all.
theres traditional detrolls and advanced detrolls. the traditional detrolls just means that they prefer to live in the forest and live their lives how their ancestors always did. advanced detrolls live in more modern areas like cities. :)

I have a species of alien moth cats that have black or colored sclera, antenna, and thick striped tails! Some can predict or see future events. One of them is a android that displays error messages or code on her eyes to express emotion! They're a closed species but I'm considering opening some customs/adopts sometime :)
