I hate to love you
But it would seem that I have to
I struggle to try
But alas I can not lie
I wish I could
But it’s a matter of whether I should
For in order to love you
I must change who I am
This love I’ve been drawn to
Is little more than a sham
So if who I am is not enough
Then I must follow through
And let myself
