Well, I'm a third-year accounting major, which means internship hunting time! Anyways, I have a safe for work only art insta that I made primarily to attach to job applications and it helped me get my previous internship, which was marketing at a dying media startup. Don't work at startups with no HR btw, the CEOs get away with a lot of horrible behavior.
Anyways, so I score an interview at my top choice for an accounting internship (with the art insta and the dying media startup on the application). We're on the second interview and one of the recruiters is like "my daughter loves anime" in the tone of an adult who thinks anime is for kids and I'm internally like... Am I not gonna get in bc I look immature? I got an offer but that was def a terrifying moment lolNov 10, 2020
