Description: I had made this piece just a little while after new years, I had been coloring away under the late summer sun, sitting under our sunroof, enjoying the heat, once I finished the sketch the colors sorta seemed to fit how the heat tended to bother me during my time painting and finishing off deadlines, summer is the worst for a painter, can't seem to get anything done after a while yet we prevail, the inspiration for the color of this sketch derives from how I feel about summer as an artist NZ Eastern Time.
