It's definitely expression... I grew up in an environment where I was never vocal about my thoughts and opinions and never ever got myself to unbottle up all of those feelings- I had no wants and trying to speak about my personal thoughts always gets someone to comment that either no one wants to listen or they think it's unprofessional of me... But when I create art, it lets me express and vent out all the pent up feelings... Some people may just see a bunch of buildings but even the smallest buildings and colours can express my moods, thoughts, or vision and I feel like that's art for a lot of people

art is a form of expression, im allowed to express myself via characters and abstract thoughts. i can talk about what it means to be trans to me through an oc and vivid colors and nobody will bat an eye but I will put such a deep meaning into it.

Usually I draw how I feel when I can’t describe it. Almost like a vent to myself? Makes no sense but hopefully you catch what I mean
And the whole idea that you can draw almost anything. You can make your own story and draw it and I just think about how cool that is
