I recommend the help center of the app. You can find it that way: Go to your profile -> click the circle icon in the upper right corner -> select help center :) The new user guide on @artfol_guide is also very helpful.

If you have any questions about how anything works, you can either ask with a text post (adding “question” to the designated hashtag section of a text post will add the text post to the Questions Tab at the top of the Community Tab), checking out the Help Center (go to your profile & tap the 2-lined icon on the upper right), or you can check out @artfol_guide !

Hi! Welcome to Artfol!
Here’s some useful things to know about Artfol! There isn’t much of an algorithm here, so it makes a more level “playing field” for users! The best way to grow on here is to interact with other users through either complimenting art or through the Community Tab!
If you want a question to appear in the Questions Tab, add the hashtag “question” in the little hashtag section of the text post! If you have any questions on how anything works, you can always make a text post to ask OR check out the Help Center!
There’s also a Dark Mode, in case you’re interested! Just go to your profile, tap the 2 lined icon on the upper right, tap App Settings, & at the top of Preferences, there should be the option to choose Light or Dark Mode!
You can’t post art/images (this includes memes & meme type images too) that you didn’t make UNLESS you have permission from the OG artist to do so. I’m pointing this out because not that many people actually read through the TOS & get upset when their account got banned for breaking the TOS they failed to read. It helps prevent art thieves & reposters from taking the attention & credit from the real artists on here; & the Artfol community has strong words about art thieves & reposters!
If someone comments something nasty on your stuff (we’ve had a few harassing ban-evaders who came back on here recently), just report the account for harassment, block the account, & delete the comment! Do not interact with these people! I heard the Devs are working on figuring out a way to stop harassing ban-evaders, so hopefully there’ll be an update for that sometime!
