Finished Beastars s2. First half was settin' up something exciting for the meat of the story, but then the last few episodes was when the meat became hard to swallow. As someone who hasn't read the manga, I'm wondering what they're gonna do now that the whole murder mystery plot's been resolved. Apparently what's happening next is when many people declared that this series jumped the shark tho, so perhaps studio Orange can somehow salvage that phase of the manga.
Overall, not as good as the first season. 7/10.

Yeah, the first half was so great (and the OP & ED both were bops), but by the time the finale came around I sort of just... "That's it? Really?"

Yah season 2 wasn’t that good, felt to rushed. Also we hardly saw Haru, she did nothing. I think season 3 will be better, I’ve read the manga and I won’t spoil it but the new characters are some of the best in the series with an interesting plot compared to the first 2 seasons, granted the ending sucks so hopefully they change that in season 3.
