Has anyone else received a scam DM message & a follow from a now deleted user?
It was one of those, “Hey, I like your art, can I use it as inspiration for a mural for a client? (which sounds to me as, “can I steal your art & not pay you at all to use your hard work for my own monetary gain?”)
I’m just really confused because it’s already gone, the account was either deleted by the user or got swiftly banned from Artfol by the Artfol team (who seem to be going through some of the reports today?)
I usually don’t receive messages like this on here’s because I don’t post art super frequently, so… how’d they find me? Comments? Reshares? People I follow?Jan 30, 2023

Yes someone on my ig, but they immediately deleted the dm when they sent it. Might be an ai thing, so they “technically” have ur permission to scrap ur art. Always say no.

I never received this kind of dm, probably because I signed up here just some days ago... But it was probably a scammer who got banned! If you receive other messages like this one, block and report! :O
