Posing for You, My Kassie

Laying in my bed, flipping through my photo albums, I observed my almost completed portfolio. Yay! I couldn't wait to show this to my photography teacher, as well submit this to my resume for Notre Dame university. Smiling, I closed the albums tightly shut, placing them underneath my bed.
"Hey what are you looking at, Kassie?" A familiar soft voice spoke, as I tilted my head towards my left. It was Eve, with that wide smile... I didn't like it.
"It's nothing," I replied, feeling the bed shift as Eve climbed right on top of it, slithering into my lap like a cat preying on a mouse. She stroked my calf, her grey eyes searching all around my face, waiting for a response.
I never gave her any...even when she would invade my comfort...
My mind snapped back as the flashing sound of my Polaroid caught my attention. Eve was aiming the camera right at my chest area, taking more pictures, before passing it at me. "Do you want to take a picture of me?" She raised her brows, her smile turned into a toothy grin.
"Um..sure.." I hesitated, shooting myself away, in order to get a perfect angle of Eve. I have to admit, Eve Appleton was very pretty in pictures. She had this 70s beauty, yet her eyes held that sweet angel facade. Even in this photo, nobody could ever believe that a angelic girl like her could be my abuser.

Hey guys,
Sorry I didn't post this yesterday. I had a very busy and productive day. I really like how this artwork looks, despite being Eve related. This was kinda hard to write, since it deals with a heavy topic and it hits close to home for me. Although, lore like this gives us a view on what was Kassie dealing with all by herself, and the pressures of her trying to not be a burden to her family. It's depressing because she's is very young, and things like this event has a impact to her eventual fate.
