Oyo oyo! It's the spooky time of the year again, so time to host the first Reaptober on here!! (It's technically my second year hosting but, I wasn't on the site back then, so first for here!) Everyone's welcome to join in on the fun! Would love to see this spread around so more people can see and maybe join in! Now for the rules! -Make an art (can be just a sketch, an ink, a finished illustration) following a prompt from the list! -Post it! On the prompt day. Or share it around if you're not into social media, just let someone know you did it and be proud of your achievement! -When posting use the hashtag #Reaptober and/or #Reaptober2023 -There's no pressure to do all of them, or even do them on the listed day or order, just make some art and enjoy yourself without stress! It's cool if ya make just one! -Going through the tag and commenting on other people's work is also appreciated! Share some love! -Deadline for submissions is the 1st of November! And that's it! Though feel free not to follow any of those, if you don't want to or make up your own rules and approaches, I'm here for all the creativity and enabling it haha, not to boss anyone about! Reaptober 2023 - Day 8 - Witch"You went to that WITCH!? ...And what did she say?"

Was I really looking forward to this one? Yup! Knew what I was going to draw the moment I put it in the prompt list, because this art has been living in my head for years now, and I am so happy to have an excuse to finally bring it to life, even happier it actually turned out well! That doesn't happen often but aaaah, I'm quite proud of this! Not too sure about her design yet, while sketching tried like 4 hairstyles and none of them really matched what I had in mind, but had to move on so for now we have this. Pretty happy with her outfit, just want some better/more patterns, iron out a few details and she'll be set.

Funny how both this weekends prompts ended up with smoke in them haha. It is quite fun to draw, though I think I could've done a better job if it wasn't already late and I still had all the colouring to do.. Also, is it just me or did Aren turn out quite cute here? And very frightened, more so than intended, but hey it works for the piece and his story's event this is based on.Oct 8, 2023

I love how centered the characters are then being wrapped in the smoke. It's just so pleasing to look at. There is so much here that brings out a spooky mood. And Aren's face. Aaahh!! Wow. This is just a fantastic piece as a whole. How did you do it!!??
