I would price commissions according to how much time it takes you to make the piece and the material costs. I think I would start by $10-15 USD per hour, but thats just me. You could in my opinion maybe $15-25 USD
A lot of prominent artists recommend at least $20 USD an hour. So if you spend roughly 3 hours of making a piece, you should charge $60 USD. I think the higher the better and if you're not getting anyone, choose expanding your audience over going dirt cheap. If you keep expanding your audience, eventually you will get people that can afford your stuff.
And if you work towards expanding your audience, you also have more eyes on your work so you can monetize in other ways as well.

This is also under the assumption that people want to commission you.
