Harnesses are cute
Another older piece that I’m still proud of, which means it’s harder for me to find what to improve on. Let me know what u think could improve this piece :) I’m thinking maybe lighting and anatomy could be changed? ( also does this need to be marked nsfw?)Apr 18, 2021#bodyharness

I think the proportions of the body are really great, but the placement of the feet feel a little unnatural. It’s not that its not possible for a person to kneel like that, it just doesn’t look comfortable if that makes sense. The only other thing that is very small is the coloring of the stretch marks/scars. They just seem a little too yellow, where as (at least fresh stretch marks) are a little more pink toned. But that’s something small that isn’t too much of a distraction. Otherwise I really like the piece and how you’re portraying what real bodies can and do look like.

•Hmm I think the pose puts out a great idea but it feels a bit wrong anatomy wise. To fix this, you can go and look at references of people in a similar pose (search on pintrest, Google, or even picture yourself!). On the floor, I'm not sure if the little scratch thingies work for the piece. I do like how you shaded the cloth in the background, but I do wish the character was more shaded as well to make the piece look more coherent. I also think the character's colors should be a bit more red-ish than yellow. And lastly, the the wings feel more detailed than the rest of the drawing which makes it less coherent. But if you're just looking for minor changes to make it better, a little color correction would prolly do. A tip to make things look coherent is put an overlay or multiply layer above the whole piece and lower the opacity. Overall tho, I think this piece has alot of potential if you tweek it a bit. •Okay, so thats a really nice artwork. I like the pose and Shadows on background. What you can work on is head and neck connection (i mean the head is in a weird angle). I love the hair and clothes. The deitals look great, just maybe use more redish color for skin bc its really yellowy. Overall i love it. Keep going :)
