Myne: "So a lot of the Ambrosia scenes were thumbnailed around the concept of Hevvin fighting off flashbacks of the past that were competely scrapped (we found 1 panel). I get why, there's a lot of pressure to make the perfect backstory for the fanfavorite and Hevvin works best when you don't take him too seriously ((in my humble opinion)). However, without those bits, some transitions would be super choppy or require rewritting existing pages. So, in interest of keeping the issue intact, Coffee and I thought it'd be best to keep him running from past and insert guilt fueled dream-like sequences where flashbacks were supposed to be."
Coffee: "this is the first page thats been storyboarded by me! honestly, this first hallucination/flashback was p easy to come up with, but i can already tell the rest wont be as easy lol. i was kinda worried that the sudden transitions would be confusing, but i hope the coloring makes it a bit more clear. maybe these being confusing isnt so bad tho, because hevvins confused too LMAO. hevvin stuff might be hard for us to write in the future tbh, bc even tho i find him really interesting, i have to strike a balance between silly and serious. i hope i wont disappoint ^o^/!"May 31, 2022
