Qotd: how many art styles do you have? Or is it just one that changes over time?
Personally, I think I have 3-4 distinctive styles
One is very simple and great for small character doodles
One is a bit more fleshed out but still very comic-y
One is what I call my 'semi-realism', just slightly stylized
And one is naturalistic^^May 3, 2021

i have a traditional realism style, and for digital MAINLY a more simple style but other than those i do a million different things randomly for no reason for example:
semi realism digital
graphite pencil semirealism
scribbly shaded art idk what to call it
and the list goes on

This one is kind of tough.
I’d say I have my usual style and then I have two ways of lining and coloring for this style. I also have a cutesy animeish style for fullbody doodles. Then I have lol small chibis, tall chibis, dumb little beanie chibis, icon chibis.... (?!) It kind of just depends on my mood.

2 or 3? My normal “semi-realistic”, a more paint-y style, and recently a sketchy/ relaxed style

•
I think about three … but all of them leaning more into the scetchy spectrum.
• painterly, proper (and depending on motivation and time also clean and finished >w<)
My quick scetches (also the slightly cleaned up colored version) are also a part of that I think… since they are the base for the painting…
• the remnants of my manga and anime drawing phase that is merging into a weird comic-y mess
• and then whatever happens when I have no good art days where nothing works but looks consistently weird …

2 I think. One is much more clean and in my opinion nicer to look at, but it also takes more time. The other one is more messy and I often only clean up the sketch and use it as lineart instead of drawing the lineart again. I also tried lineless art a couple of times but I have never finished those drawings ^^"

id say 4ish? A painted style, chibis, properly lined art, and a simple black and white style.
•
I have two id say,,, my default and my more detailed one which I'm trying to incorporate into my default style so I had one that I'm comfortable with

Art is definitely a journey and not a destination but I do see that my art at the moment has three distinctive styles. Semi-realistic with stylized elements, anime/manga inspired, and chibi

•
I have two main artstyles: a regular one and a more chibiish one. Of course they are still evolving so I change stuff from time to time ^^"
•
I think I have around 4 - 5 different art styles, but also these change over time. I mean, I drew my first Cat 4 years ago, and now look at me

•
My friends all know me as the person who can copy styles like it's no problem but I think primarily my own I have maybe 3? 3 or 4?
