Very nice question ! It’s hard to know exactly what would make a good ghibli, but it would probably have to do with environment.
My idea would be of a tribe in the woods where another society invaded more and more to gain land, with the tribe starting to curse the invaders as they come closer. They’d start turning into trees, animals, stuff like that, I’d would probably have a moment of fear where the turned people would have to defend themselves not to be killed by their peers, and a conclusion where the two populations could discuss and understand each other more peacefully

•I would've loved to see the planned-but-ultimately never made adaptation of Parasyte from them. The environmental messages in the series are right up Miyazaki's alley.
