twilight princess link in his ordon fit,, i hc him to be a trans guy that bulks up his muscles to help with chest dysphoria and probably binds with bandages (not healthy) he does have them on his arms so design wise it wouldn't be too far off ,,
and the way the game deals with transformation and the twilight realm being not all good or all bad him being sort of in between both light and dark realms, and in his wolf form being seen as a monster by the townsfolk and people who were his friends are scared of him now because they don't recognize him, and the fact that both roles being a hero and being a wolf he didn't have a choice it just happened to him, and only very few people know him fully and understand who he is, idk 2 me that can be interpreted a lot as transness and I like projecting onto my favs so πŸ˜™ yay β€οΈπŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

Link has always been a special character to me but part of accepting myself helped me realize I'm a lot more like him I thought ,, and he's always gave me sm gender envy. It annoyed me so much when people would mistake him for a girl just because he has long hair. is that the only thing that determines someone's gender in their mind? I feel a lot of cishet men misinterpret Link's character and see his stoicism as a cool and masculine thing when really I think he hides a lot of pain behind a facade but he doesn't have the words for it so he keeps it to himself. that's not exactly a super heroic thing to look up to and aspire for. I remembered one YouTuber I used to watch didn't like Skyward Sword Link because he was too soft and said his lips made him look like a girl. or calling him a simp for wanting to save the girl he loves but cool and awesome for protecting the ppl he cares abt. that's just gross and misogynistic being ashamed of Link's "feminine traits" or for caring deeply about a woman , but it was what I was used to that I kept watching even though it made me uncomfortable, there was no other Zelda Youtubers I knew of at the time. I think a lot of people have a messed up view of masculinity bc of what society teaches but to me Link has always been an example of masculinity I want to aspire to be.
