The Pursuit of Suffering

Finished the WIP of my OC Envy featuring an edgy quote I thought of on the spot. I’m really enjoying the colors and texture so I’ll be sure to do more like this in the future.

Envy is only a teenager with a lot of unresolved emotions and mental illnesses. The Pursuit of Suffering is something that is true to his character. He often puts himself in situations to purposely tank his mental health. He thinks having more trauma makes him more special and interesting. He idolizes “tortured artists” and romanticizes his own mental illnesses. He’s only 16, so he has a lot to learn.May 27, 2022
