Your artstyle could totally be used to illustrate a slightly unsettling children's book with your bright colors and flawless lineart

i think it's very unhealthy to think about ones art style as an "artist's signature" and instead more so as an artistist /choice/ an artstyle you choose because you think it would convey the message or feeling of the art, to your readers, the best

I would say intense eyes and emotional faces with minimal "effort". The stuff is told through the pose and colours. I really think you hit a nail on that and especially with more dark emotions. There is an underlying tiredness or loneliness if there needs to. I see a lot of neutral faces everywhere or they are overly happy. You switch it up a lot. And you nail it. There is always a story I feel...
