Oh wow I love this~ you're doing a great job with the anatomy omg 
and I also like his design a lot! I'm not quite sure but the surfboard seems a bit off when it comes to its perspective 
and maybe the hair strands could be arranged more in a way that makes sense? (I personally have a hard time to see where the hair is growing out of his head?) Oh but I also very much like the colours you chose and the blurry background is a great contrast!!
