Here's a reason I rarely use DeviantArt anymore:
I found a post of Oren(from Incredibox SPrunki) lying in bed on DA. I would have favorited it, thinking it was cute art, but looking at OP's profile. I found someone requesting OP to make similar stuff with other Sprunki characters(including Mr. Sun, wouldn't he incinerate the bed?), and OP delivered.
Looking at other people on DA, I assumed this was yet another weird ass fetish(over lying in bed no less). I also was about to favorite a drawing of cartoon injuries/shapeshifting I found(again, I thought it was innocent at first), only to find it's been tagged "fetish art".
Pretty much everything can be jacked off to on DA, and I don't want to put a disclaimer over something as mundane as LYING IN BED or commonplace as cartoon injuries. That's part of why I'm rarely active there, at least Artfol is a little more chill.Oct 25, 2024
