My ocs live in a fictional world, composed by different continents and different rules, tho i keep some countries of the real world which keep their own regional characteristics and costumes, a lot are invented.
The point is that they have their own culture (their culture goes more by a continental extent, the specific culture of any specific countrie is considered a sub culture of the continent), specially centered on "Inaria" which is the continent where the majority of my ocs live, this is considered a bit of a 3rd world country in this universe.
Do you think it would be offensive in any way if i include certain negative stuff on their world that happens in real life? For example, cultural appropriation by some of this fictional ruler countries, or racist agression towards certain marginalized zones
Like Huaiphan, a continent that would maybe be similar to what USA is in real life?, appropriating certain parts of Inaria's or Astaria's (another continent close to Inaria) cultures, like their native clothing and accessories. The cultures aren't really based out of any real place, they are just invented stuff, may i remark, and if i do it's mostly inspired by my own.

There is always someone who is gonna be offended but that is their problem, even if you create and entire new race some dude is gonna compare it to some race that already exist, but at least you can say "is my own world and my world characters are not the same and dont come from the same issues" as bad as it might sound that is one reason why I decided to create my own world too, I am hispanic but I was afraid of drawing people of color based on the "real world" just in case someone would complain, so , yeah better to create your own world

No. Watch some history stuff for inspiration. People like parallels. Human history has its ups and downs in any country

Bear in mind that while some people may be offended by it, others will say it’s totally fine. (For example there’s this video that some people looked at and said “this is offensive to Egyptians, it’s appropriating their culture”. But then actual Egyptians would look at it and say it was fine)
Basically what I mean is people can never seem to agree on what the rules are when it comes to this kind of thing :P Personally though I think it would be okay. It’s not like racism and the like CAN’T exist in a fictional world, lol

I would say don’t worry about offending people. If people get offended that’s their own problem. It’s your own universe based on the real one. And usually… if someone is offended … it’s because there’a truth to it. So do what you want I would say

•Dont think that is offensive at all. It is your world, so you should do whatever you want. Remember that bad stuff from the real world has always inspired the fictional. Like the alien apartheid in District 9, or the nazi inspiration of the Helghast in the Killzone games :D
