Content warning for caption: violence, violation of bodily autonomy, metaphorical transphobia.Fontaine was shaken by the party’s encounter with Clorette, one of the witches who took over Giltgreen. She infiltrated their home - their secret safe haven where he can be himself - and attacked the party both verbally and very much physically. She forced tendrils of blood magic into Fontaine’s automaton vessel to discover for herself what he really is and found his fish self at his core, almost killing him in the process.
In the aftermath, he involuntarily cast Shape Water to instinctively try and expel the remains of her blood from the water, and found himself suddenly, for all intents and purposes, crying. For the first time ever.
