To all my oc creators, has any other popular character (for example: Ironman, Goku, Mickey Mouse) helped influenced what you wanted that OC to be with their personality, outfit, overall look, etc.
For me: Naofumi Iwatani helped influence what I wanted my OC Oliver Peddleton to be personality wiseApr 26, 2021

One of my characters is a mix of BBC’s Sherlock, Levi from Attack on Titan, and Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice

When I watched fullmetal alchemist brotherhood for the first time, I was obsessed with Alphonse Elric’s design at the very very end of the show. I was just so excited by it that I made my oc Oliver look almost exactly like him- he has since changed in appearance a little but there is still shocking similarities
and I don’t have it in me to change him

My oc Kyoko is very heavily inspired by Noodle from Gorillaz. They both almost exclusively speak Japanese, they both have a very hazy backstory, and they both wear kitsune masks at some point.

•Oh, dang, Shield Hero was such a great show!
But getting back to the topic, for me, I’d say my one OC Axel has some inspiration from Seig, who’s from Fate: Apocrypha. He’s not a homunculus like Sieg, but he doesn’t really know all that much the outside world, so he’s somewhat slow to certain things (as an example, he believes that storks deliver babies). This is mainly because he’s been sheltered all his life.
