Satius - The Celestial Goddess of Time and AgricultureHi hello! I spent so much time on this please don't let it flop omg.
Anyways here's Saturn! I heavily decided against going the easy route and just. Slapping a ring to her bc that's,,,, boring to me.
So instead I did research, as I always do when humanizing non-human things. Sure, the actual human part of the character doesn't necessarily look like Saturn, I'll give you that. Instead, I actually heavily relied on color scheme of her instead!
Saturn is associated with black and darker colors. Because of that, I decided to give her darker skin, black hair, and black eyes. Because I couldn't rely on darker colors the ENTIRE time (it would get all dark and hard to see! Besides it wouldn't wouldn't look interesting to me), I decided on using colors associated with Capricorn, the sign Saturn rules.
Capricorn is associated with earthy colors like brown and green. I originally had a green skirt for her, but the more I looked at it, the more ,,, it didn't look like it meshed well. Sure it DID look good, but it really really didn't. So, with the help of discord friends, I gave her a blue gradient skirt instead!
I also decided to make her a celestial goddess for no other reason bc,,,,, I wanted to
. Do I also have a reason for the black bleeding eyes? Fuck no I let out my inner cringey middle school designer bc literally why not .
But anyways, her celestial goddess side (the one on the far right) I decided to give her a more muted color scheme as I had trouble figuring out a color scheme for the left. Basically, I had the help of pre-made color palettes. I gave her goddess form ram horns because of Capricorn being the "ram". Then I let myself give her two rings over her head so I have SOME form of rings on her so it didn't look like I was purposefully gonna leave them out bc they ARE a big part of her.
