Need so much practice... helpful feedback would be great, from anyone who’s exceptionally skilled at watercolor. I know there’s some stuff that’s off about the drawing, my main concern is getting better at the painting technique. May 13, 2021#watercolor

i agree with the one about the skintone. :) I'd recommend trying to leave out negatives when painting for the highlights. easiest way I do it is during sketching i mark the spots I have to leave out so they're white.
they make pretty nice effect for hairs and it gives a nice contrast. :)

with my experience in watercolor, this looks great! what you can work on is skin tone, notice how the shoulder is a little off tone? looking at this, I can see that the light is coming from the right, hence the shading in the left side of her face. with the shoulder a different color, it can affect the lighting. try and keep a consistent amount of color to cover the whole thing to prevent “discoloration”. Overall, amazing

•I too think it's great, just keep at it, you'll grow day by day. Date your work, revisit and see the progress

•I am not exceptionally skilled at water color, especially with people, but I just wanted to say that I personally think this looks really really pretty and I love the hair and the eyes and the lips and the hand okay that is all have a good day..
