Old art is hard to look at (and sometimes new art too XD) but looking back helps you see just how far you’ve come! And maybe for those just starting their journey, seeing the beginnings of yours can feed their determination. Are you brave enough to share? 😋💜 Rules: Share your progress over any amount of time. I was inspired to start this challenge after realizing that it’s been five years since I bought an iPad and decided to really pursue improvement as an artist. The first few redraws are embarrassing to share, but I know how tempting it is to look at another artist’s art and think they didn’t have to struggle to get to where they are now. There are many times I’ve been discouraged along this path and believed I wasn’t cut out to even be an artist, but I can only see improvement now because I never quit. So if you’re struggling with feeling proud of where you are now, lift your head up! The best artists never stop learning and all walk a path constructed of mistakes and victories that we’ve turned into experience. And though progress may be harder won for you than it is for someone else, simple resolve can you see you through to reaching for stars you never dreamed of ✨
