For every bird lover it is common knowledge that the males are the ones that possess a brighter, shinier, or more colorful plumage than their female counterparts. But did you know that among kingfishers, it is reversed? The females are the brighter ones You can tell by my feed that I mostly go for more muted colors but I actually enjoyed making this piece more vibrant ♡
