i’m in high school art and have been taking school art for years and i don’t even know why i do it because half the time it’s either really simple east stuff or it’s just things i don’t want to do, definitely prefer doing my own art at home i don’t rly learn anything from school
as for like actual colleges for art, ive researched a bunch and degree wise, an art degree isn’t rly useful bc jobs on art are based on skill and the portfolio, and for the learning part there’s a lot more cost affordable options like ateliers and just online classes and resources
however, if you don’t live in america don’t take that advice bc art collages in america are so expensive it’s insane

•I'm too old for highschool now but the concept of "real" school still sounds pretty shitty to me, even if it's an art school lol, I prefer to stick to homeschooling.

•Been homeschooled my whole life too! I've talked to a couple people who go to art schools and it seems like it depends on the school and the person, some people have really good experiences while others don't
