as i had said before, this challenge's idea is awesome! and when haru said that haru would join in at some point - i am making good on that promise right now.
the outfit that got picked up by my character from imi studios is the orbit set [orbit hoodie and orbit shorts]
why is there more than imi's clothing? to give answer to that - haru likes the idea of imi's about slow fashion and wanted to showcase how this set of clothing could be incorporated into ones outfit wardrobe by bringing together different elements that the wearer owns.
and as you can see i added quite bit to the image, but choosing between whether to explain those or let the viewer to explore by themselves.. to me the idea of letting the looks speak for themselves sounds quite appealing ^^ to soak it in bit by bit. slowly.
haru thanks to avery again for bringing this challenge into existence because it has been amazing experience even though my fingers may hurt at the moment the knowledge haru gained through this process is great. from capturing the essence of clothes to making image tell bit deeper of story. those gains are my treasures now.May 9, 2022

I’m so sorry again I didn’t see this earlier, but it looks incredible!! I really love the colour palette and the sense of flow with the drawstrings echoing the wing shapes, and the fine linework is so delicate and clean. And the styling really works, it makes this look unique and personal to the character

This is incredible!! The attention to detail is truly amazing, and the mix of all the different elements is exciting to explore!! Your use of pattern and detail in certain places is awesome Haru!

I love the details so much, I’m not big on analyzing art or fashion, it requires brain power I don’t have. BUT I did think the hole in the middle of the top was really interesting. My first thought was a representation of emptiness, of course, or even letting someone see within u, like ur vulnerabilities. AHH IDK, just thinking thoughts but this is so pretty
