EXPOSE YOUR OLD ART!

Here it is! You only have to submit some of your old art so we can all see where you started and where you're at now! You can create a template like this one or only post 1 drawing, there's no rules for that. Here you can see some of my drawings from 2013 to 2017! Some of them are so so awful, gosh 😌 Sadly, I lost the really old ones some years ago, but these are gems too! From 2017 onwards, you can find all my art at Instagram (there's some terrible one's there too haha). I think I've improved quite a lot in the past years 🌱 I'll reblog some of your entries too! Go, go, go!! (Bonus points if you can recognize some of the characters. You should know 3 of them) and thanks to @pepitosartdumpster for the best frikin idea.

/!\ OLD ART FROM 2014 /!\

Here is the exact same portrait from my previous post... but painted a very long time ago.

This isn't even that old in the grand scheme of my art (I have more things from 2010...), but I made such strides in improvement. I've also noticed a trend with this portrait: some people don't see what I see, and still think it's a decent portrait. All I can see today, however, is how much I struggled with rendering, and how little I knew about volumes.

I didn't see those things either back then, but I do now! Time and practice, my friends...Apr 11, 2021
