Yeah as some people mentioned previously, all the Genshin redesigns except Amber’s (that one was silly).
- Personally I hated Mona’s OG swimsuit outfit, because she was over sexualized by fans and some camera angles/shots during her missions were focused… you know where
- Rosaria OG outfit was also sexualized, but since she’s an alternative nun it felt more like she would personally wear it. However the new version makes more sense, the full covered dark color palette due to her “night work”.
- Jean’s OG design at the top felt pretty empty despite being the leader of the knights (seemed like wasted potential for armor or something). And then the redesign cooked so hard with the dark shirt and fringes, now that’s empowering confidence. Still a bit mad that they didn’t cover the shoulders too but the cape saves it.

•Idk if it counts but it’s um demon slayer, the Chinese version the female characters put on more clothes I guess? In the original a lot of the female characters have just abnormally little clothing, they’ve got almost their whole chest exposed, I get that maybe it’s “fan service” but this anime isn’t -that- kind of anime, it’s rated 14+ in Netflix, the manga is rated T, so I don’t get why they’d do that especially in an anime that’s focused around demons and not fan service, so it just feels forced and unnecessary to me. so I honestly like the Chinese censored version better, it’s not too much that it looks tacky, but the outfits still look great and it serves its purpose well. But that’s my personal opinion though if any of y’all think the Chinese ver is weird and the og is better I’m not one to judge

•This is how I feel about Mona from Genshin. I didn't really have a problem with her og swimsuit dress. It was kinda okay, ya know with her water sprint and kind of shows she's spending money on anything but clothes. But then they "censored" her with the alt outfit and she's just like... Wow. She looks pretty nice. The colors are more vibrant and more blue instead of purple. Also, she's quite literally showing more skin than before because her thighs are exposed. Congratulations, chinese censorship. You just played yourself.

Same for Rosarias design! I’ve never been a fan of people sexualizing nuns so I’m glad they gave her a more modest outfit

•This is how I feel about Jean and Rosaria’s censored designs from genshin. Also that xenoblade girl who had their designs changed as well. Oh and that one dragon maid girl too.
