The nominees for this year's Crunchyroll Anime Awards have been announced, and the choices are back to being baffling.
They really need to limit how many shows can be nominated for each category, because SpyFam being nominated a whopping 19 times seems a little extreme.
The second most-nominated was Ranking of Kings with 16, a show that started in 2021. I'm still of the mindset that an anime should only be nominated for stuff once it's finished. Demon Slayer's Entertainment District Arc and JoJo Part 6 also started in 2021, but they started later than October and thus didn't count until now.
The categories that JoJo Part 6 was nominated for:
-Best Action
-Best Character Design
-Best Continuing Series(started in 2021 and ended in 2022)
-Best Japanese Voice Acting Performance(for Ai Fairouz as Jolyne)
-Best Castilian Voice Acting Performance(for Lourdes Fabrés as Jolyne)
-Best French Voice Acting Performance(for Laure Filiu as Jolyne)
-Best German Voice Acting Performance(for Uwe Thomsen as Jotaro)
If This Fffire doesn't win Best Opening Song, I'll be very disappointed.Jan 19, 2023
