Art inspired by Music - Conundrum (Lusa, OC)I've been wanting to do this challenge for awhile, and I finally hit the perfect song for it ~ I was listening to the ori soundtrack on shuffle while at work and this song came on, called Conundrum... And it just gave me such vibes. While I was relistening to it after work, I was hit by inspiration, put it on repeat, and got to work.
This is what came after listening to it for an hour and a half on repeat
I'm actually really proud of it and that makes me soooo happy :3

Magical video game soundtrack, no words.
The vibes I got from it were - magical, ethereal, floaty.... and glowing balls of light I also felt dark forest/cave, but that didn't end up in the piece.
Thanks for the challenge @somnium_png it was a blast
This is my OC Lusa, so... Have some more writing from that story this has nothing to do with the illustration, unfortunately xD still a good scene

Daes smiled again then moved to grab a small bottle to put the scale shine into.
"Is that... a snake in your hood?" Lusa asked.
He chuckled warmly. "Oh, yeah, that's my familiar, Ash."
At the mention of him, he snuck his snout out from the curl of the hood.
"Aww, he's cute," she said as she held out her hand. "Will he bite?"
Ash himself shook his head.
"He wants to move to your hand, if that's okay."
Her eyes widened. "Oh, definitely okay!" She held her hand closer to the hood so Ash could transfer more comfortably. "Hello Ash, aren't you adorable?"
"Glad to see the Warlock isn't afraid of snakes," he said as he carefully measured some of the potion into the tiny bottle.
Ash wrapped himself around her wrist and then plopped his head down in the middle of her hand.
"Does he like to be pet?"
"Yeah, usually," he replied. "Especially when he's shedding."
She gave him some scratchies as she looked around the room. "It's really tidy in here. I thought witches were supposed to be slobs."
She'd seemed shy before... Guess a cute lil snake was all it took to make her open up. "And I thought warlocks were along the alignment of chaotic and evil."
"How do you know I'm not?" she replied.
By looking at you. "How do you know I'm tidy? You haven't seen the rest of the house."
She sighed. "Fair enough." Lusa brought the snake up to her face and gave his scaley side a little kiss.
Chaotic or evil, yeah right. "Would you like any tea?"
"Am I supposed to accept tea from a witch?"
"No one makes tea better."
She smiled. "Sure."
Ash flicked out his tongue and tickled it against her nose.
"I'm keeping your snake," Lusa said.
He shook his head. "Many have tried, few have succeeded. They usually give him back after he gets stuck in a cabinet for the sixth time."
