Amalinder is trying to quiet the voices in Ciro's head, once he's free from Diamanto's claws he gets all sorts of paranoia. But those voices need to be quieted for him to go on and be the best he can become.

It can be pretty mentally challenging to lose so many beloved people and yet have to thrive and continue life after having been the best and most worn out tool in a tool box to solve major issues within a deplorable system. Ciro doesn't feel used though, he feels vacant after his mission. As if that fire he had burning inside of his chest with all that hatred and determination just got terminated with the splash of a glass of water (or a few teardrops)

He's not having the time of his life but alas he can rest. Amalinder has his back, and it'll be fine in the long run. It just takes a lot of adjusting, mourning and routine.

I love that I draw my comic in silly ways but before making it silly it was supposed to be serious. I guess it makes for pretty pieces or thoughtful pieces like these.
