I was very entranced by intimacy and by the physical body as it is for many years.
Since Feb '22 I haven't but felt shame for having such deep interest in drawing and sharing the human body uncensored.
I recalled old blocked memories and finally understood what I was trying to cope with, and I feel that broke me and alienated me from what was the core of my body of work.
I've been trying to rebuild my identity, see what's new. Should I move on and focus on another type of art? Should I push through and keep on drawing intimacy?
I feel like I should do both, like I can do both things, expand my body of work AND create my nudity, lewd and intimacy pieces with a more present and mature emotional background.
I feel like the compassionate move would be to reintegrate the art of my damaged inner teen with that of their current adult self, not shunning them, which I tried at first.
I still have a long way to grow, but I feel like I need to share this.
