V-E Day Tribute 2025

Gone out of my way to do something different today.
Today on May 8th would have been 80 years since the end of World War II in Europe, so I sought to make something to honor all the soldiers and freedom fighters who fought for a more peaceful, united Earth. It only made sense for me to draw a sketch of the Normandy Landings, which marked a turning point in the war against the Axis Powers, alongside an original character for one of my future game concepts, Captain Comet Albright. He is indicative of the many recruits who signed up for the war: young and adventurous, yet willing to fight for what is right for all.
I hope that artwork like this inspires you to remind yourself that even in the darkest of times, there will always be light shining at the end of the tunnel. Stay strong!
