The yellow pattern on Randel's face is Thanakhaa သနပ်ခါး, a pretty common facial product, it's just tree bark cream, smells like wood.
This is the new year's holiday of Myanmar and (there are many more festivities of course but mainly) we splash people with water as a way of 'washing away their bad karma from the previous year'. This tradition has evolved to full blown water fight parties with temporary stages called "Manndat/မဏ္ဍပ်". I'll admit I have some minor trauma of getting hit with a high velocity car wash pumps on one of those Manndats, so whether the change is welcome or not is....debatable.
Normally we'd have a Manndat set up every 100 meters or something but ahem Covid.Apr 14, 2022
