The picture I used for reference is a once known Chinese woman who gained media attention for being to "lolita" to be homeless.
I remember being intrigued by the story of her unfortunate social status and how it came to be. But as for this one photo of her, it gave me the impression she was lost in her own mind (a kind of escape from reality for a brief period) while residing in her debris built home in Shanghai .
I will draw two more drawings of her and explain more of her story in the following two posts.
