“Adornment” - N4x6 60 by quirkandquill
“Adornment” is the sixtieth piece in my on-going abstract Nashville 4x6s digital art series and was another one that I went into relatively “head-empty,” just doodling around and seeing what would come out of the process, resulting in this! I feel like this one gives me the impression of some sort of mask, with the eye-like shapes in the upper corners, and a sort of jawline and teeth element towards the bottom, but it’s always interesting to me to see how often in abstract art myself and others I talk to tend to find faces in the work, even when a literal face is not clearly there; it’s always kind of fun that it feels like we’re always searching for others like us in the unknown of the abstract, in a way.If you enjoy this piece, “Adornment,” find something in the art that catches your eye, or if you interpret it in a way that you’d like to share, definitely always feel free to reach out and let me know what you think in a message or leave a comment and I’ll always be excited to hear it, for sure!
