And a bonus question:

How did you figure out what kind of art you want to make? Was it influenced by something?

I've drawn stuff kind of aimlessly since I was a kid, and I think I always liked making art about cool people with superpowers, like idr exactly what triggered that. But when I read Bleach in high school I decided I wanted to be a comic/manga artist, right there. Still chasing that dream 10 years later 🏃🏋
Dunno actually. Guess I just draw whatever I like. I don’t think I can pin down my inspiration to one thing in particular
I was heavily inspired by videogames since little, I still have some really old drawings of scenes from Kirby. Also anime because on spanish tv they used to dub and share it as regular cartoons… they don’t anymore, god I miss those god old times :’D
I think it's good to explore new types of art to make every now and again. I've always wanted to make comics because I both love to draw and to tell stories. Lately I've been getting into linocuts too, because I just love the process and the limitations of the medium
never figured it out tbh, I just draw whatever I want to draw, atm it’s mainly people and lots of birds
But I had a pretty long phase of only drawing wolves, I think I’ve grown out of that tho 🧍‍♀️
When I started reading comics seriously, my art urge also started. So I automatically started drawing comics or illustrations in a style suitable for comics too
I just knew i really like anime girls and i never stopped! but i did get influenced by other types of media and artists from my art classes!
I knew I wanted to become a children's book illustrator and I also like the cartoonish artstyle more than realism (even tho realism can also be fun).
At first i wanted to draw anime but then i just kind of grew out of that phase. And now i mainly do semi - realism. I just think it's super pretty. I still do different cartoonish styles because i like cartoons. I want to do realism full time but i understand that a lot of people don't really look twice at realism and they are more drawn to cartoony styles. So i guess the Internet was the one who influenced me.
Anime mostly but lately I’ve been more interested in old western animation so trying to pivot in that direction.
In my case was at first the attractive designs made by Tim Burton that got me into drawing into a more cartoon style, since I originally I only drew and painted in a more classical way, seeking realism, yet I got more fascinated with the cartoon style as it helped me to connect with my characters and stories (which I already created before drawing cartoons)
Then, the influence of the artist Brianna García from DeviantArt and paying more attention to the art of the Disney movies from its renaissance era, added that I also started to appreciate the comic artists from my country such as Themo Lobos and Pepo is when I decided to follow my own style, though slightly inspired by them.(This last bit was unconscious though)
After 20 years of drawing I slowly went to find myself in art.

I also had a hard time accepting digital art, mostly out of ignorance, since I started to use a tablet when I was around 23, which is old compared to other people I knew back then, who used tablets when they were teens.
Watching arcane moved me ig
THis is a good question. Being a lonely, undiagnosed little tyke meant I made up my own friends and I wanted them to be as real as possible, so I drew them. As a result, they're in novels and all I draw is them, they just happen to be muscly men 😆
