El LuisónA folklore creature belonging to some indigenous tribes in/around Argentina!
Not a huge fan of this piece in specific but it was for class so I thought I’d include it.
I love this challenge! It’s really fun especially for a folklore lover like myself.
Story: It is said that the 7th son of a family will turn into this beast on their 13th birthday. Hunting the earth to no end, and no rest..
I’m also including it in a story of mine >:)
[DISCLAIMER]: Much of these types of Folklores are passed down through oral storytelling. Because of this, characteristics of the same folktale vary from community to community. There are not much illustrations of this beast that are continuous as well.
I do not own the Luisón/Luisõ. It is it’s own piece of folklore, but I did design this rendition and I do consider it mine. So please look at all the renditions before drawing a Luisón— not just mine. And please credit if you do take a lot of inspo.Oct 25, 2023
