My classmates also say that whenever they happen to see me drawing, like: ”You should make a Tiktok account, many people start their careers like that.”

Yes I’m aware you can get popular over there, but that kind of popularity isn’t really what I’m aiming for. People don’t take the time to look at your art properly or appreciate it on Tiktok (unless you have a really unique artstyle), they just save a quick glance and then continue on with their scrolling.

I want followers who care about my art and concepts, a dedicated audience, and for that reason the format doesn’t really even fit me since I like writing a lot in the caption, either explaining something or dropping lore crumbs for my characters and worldbuilding.
