Art has been hard and kind of demotivating recently because I know I don’t have a grasp on any of the fundamentals. I’ve had so many character, story, and art ideas in general but haven’t been able to physically realize them and it sucks. It sucks to know I’ve been drawing for more than 10 years yet barely have a thing to show for it. It’s strange, I was so motivated last year, it was best year year in terms of art by far but now this year I’ve actually had thoughts creep into my head that maybe this isn’t for me. •If it helps, I had to completely re-learn all drawing techniques at age 24. You can start anytime, start over anytime, and there are a lot of resources out there! Personally I’m using “creature art teacher” courses on character design because it’s a single payment structure and not a streaming service.
