Well, some time ago I discovered I really like Power Metal! But dislike anything Death Metal and Heavy Metal
For reference, check Ayreon, it's a prog Metal project that has a mix of songs from relaxing ones to metal songs
Power metal, for what I heard, doesn't involve a lot of screaming and repetitive drum smashing, and mostly it tells of tales, like dramas and odyssey
